The countdown is on to the next El Clasico. If you haven’t gotten an el clasico livestream sorted yet, make sure that you add it to the to-do list. As any football fan knows, this is a tie that you don’t want to miss out on. It takes place on the 4th of December, so make sure that the office Christmas party knows to stay away from this date! Many of us like to place a cheeky bet on the game. So, allow us to help you choose who to back. We’re looking at this season’s team, along with a quick comparison of Messi and Ronaldo’s current form. Our research will give you a few tips on which to choose so that you’ll hopefully be watching December’s Real Madrid Barcelona Live Stream with a smile on your face.
Current Team We’ll start with Real Madrid. The team currently takes the number 1 spot on the UEFA team rankings. Ex-Madrid player Zinedine Zidane has taken over as the team’s manager after the departure of Rafael Benitez. The biggest incoming transfer this year for Real is Alvaro Morata. The 23-year-old was purchased over the summer for €30m from Juventus. Since the beginning of the season, the team has remained undefeated. However, they did concede defeat to Paris St German in the first of their pre-season friendlies. Now let’s look at Barcelona. Barca has currently been placed 3rd in the UEFA rankings. The team is currently under the care of Luis Enrique and boasts top talent such as Lionel Messi, Andre Iniesta and Neymar. The team has brought in some huge transfers recently. In particular, Andre Gomes left for €50m and Paco Alcacer for €30m both from Valencia. Barca has entered this year after winning 2 back to back Copa Del Rey trophies. In their 8 games so far this season, the team has conceded only 1 defeat. However, a worrying aspect for Barcelona may be Messi’s recurrent groin injury. With a host of new talent joining the fixture, an el clasico live stream is more important than ever. Messi vs Ronaldo Whilst these two commonly battle it out in statistics, we’d like to take a minute to highlight that both teams are extremely rich in talent. Yet for sheer goal scoring prowess, all roads lead back to these two. Messi is surging ahead with 8 goals at the moment. However, he had made significantly more appearances than Ronaldo. The aforementioned groin injury hadn’t been slowing him down any. Yet the team recently made an announcement that he will now be out until at least October. Ronaldo is showing no signs of slowing down after bagging 51 goals overall last season. He’s currently trailing just behind his captain, Ramos, in the Real goal scoring stakes. However, he still averages one goal every 78 minutes which is extremely impressive. Real Madrid also benefits up front from Gareth Bale who was purchased for €100m back in 2013. If we haven’t convinced you to find an el clasico live stream for December’s fixture by now, then we never will. However, a quick look at the stats above shows that El Clasico is likely to be fantastic game regardless of who comes out on top.
